Presents:
Tabletop Chaos
What is that? |
Tabletop Chaos is an effort to bring all of the limitless possibilities, action, adventure, humor, chaos, and gut wrenching plot twists of a table top role playing game, such as Pathfinder, Blades in the Dark, or Dungeons and Dragons, and craft it down into a short from game format.
Adventures would range from a single night or session. Up to a four session adventure, spread out over two months. |
What kind of adventures? |
If you are new to this type of gaming, then the simple answer is there will be a wide variety of adventures. From Monster Hunts, to Colosseum fights. From Mysteries to Horrors. From being caught behind enemy lines during a full scale war, to setting sail with pirates and looting a ship graveyard.
The more complex answer is that in addition to the variety of plots, there will be a variety of mechanical differences as well. Some will be more DnD rule sets, some will be a half and half for simplifications sake, and others will be 100% homebrew. The goal in every game is to make it approachable. |
Is there a lot of rules to learn? |
One of my favorite things about this kind of game is how approachable it can be. It seems daunting, and people explain it as such many times, however unlike most games you have no real opponent trying to beat you. You have fellow players, and then there is me. My goal is to make this a fun experience for you.

Can my character die? |
There are no save points here. I believe that without stakes, without risk there isn't as much thrill.
That being said, I will have an "odds of survival" with each adventure. Some will have a very low chance of death or failure, however, others will have a near impossible chance of survival, and new characters are built into the plan already. |
