Wren Handman on Havoc and Happiness

"Working with Glint was so rewarding. It was collaborative and creative, but he still drove the bus. He gave me the important experience and context to make a cover that would feel right to me while looking great and being effective."

Leumas Llewtnac on Flipside Hardcover

I worked with Glint again while designing the hardcover artwork for my novel, we bandied around ideas before settling on a style that truly matched the tone and content of the story. Glint was open to trying different approaches and suggestions, but at the end of the day he was on the money about what direction we should go in, and I trust his judgement. I will be a repeat customer of Glint's as long as he'll have me.

Glint was an absolute pleasure to deal with while working on the paperback artwork for my novel. He communicates clearly and once a design was conceptualized he was able to expresses his vision and bring the artwork to life - truly above and beyond.

Elise Carlson on Manipulator's War

I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted for my first book cover. Sharing and commenting on Pinterest pins with Judah helped, but the breakthrough came when he asked me more about my book, extracted elements from what I told him and wove them together to produce a cover I couldn't have envisioned and am very happy with.

Sara R Cleveland on Bared Magic

Working with Judah on this cover was a pleasure as always. I particularly enjoy the collaborative nature of it. The use of Pinterest inspiration boards and the back and forth during the actual art process is awesome. I feel fully involved and invested with the process, not just waiting on an unknown product. The result is a beautiful cover I think we can both be proud of. I’m really looking forward to working with Judah on the covers for the rest of this series!

Anna Bowman on Black Recluse

I went into this with very vague descriptions of what I wanted. I was looking for a cover with a classic, timeless feel to it. I was blown away by the detail and awesomeness that was delivered! Great communication about updates and feedback. The whole experience was a pleasure!

I kind of like to give the cover designer freedom to work within a few ideas I provide, as I view them as the subject matter expert in book covers. With the exchange of a few pinterest photos and requests, I was once again floored by the awesome design Judah came up with. I will trust no one else to design my book covers from now on!

Melody Kepler on Extension

Working with Judah on my cover re-design was great. I bought an unlimited revisions package (which was worth the extra fee for my indecisive mind). I wanted to go with something that had a little more of a classic feel with still being new, fresh, and to draw intrigue to readers.

Judah shared a Pinterest board with me and I pinned some existing book cover designs, as well as color schemes and the type of style of imagery I was drawn to. We then discussed some ideas and it evolved along the way into what it is now. He checks in with his progress to make sure things are turning out according to how you’re imagining it so changes can be made early on if necessary. There were even some new ideas that would pop up mid-way through and we’d discuss those.

He even worked a way for me to give a literal personal touch to my cover. How? That hand on the cover of my book was pulled from an image of my actual hand!

I loved the mornings where I would wake up to an image update from Judah. The entire experience was pleasant and exciting. Everyone I was eagerly sharing progress drawings with loved how it was progressing. I even had a few people hold out on purchasing a soft cover with the original art so they could get a hard cover!

Price, professionalism, and quality all get five stars from me!

Leumas Llewtnac on Brainless

After a brief chat about what I had in mind for cover art, Judah and I settled on an art style, created a shared Pinterest board and combined a few different looks to find something we both connected with. The end result is an amazing cover that draws the eye and details the chaos and wackiness I was hoping to capture. Judah did a fantastic job and didn't mind making alterations to see what fit best.

Brainless is the 3rd season of Leumas's podcast The Writers Wardrobe.
If you haven't given it a listen yet, I highly recommend it. I was a fan of this podcast from it's very beginning, and getting to work on the cover for season three was an immense honor.

Pet Portraits:

A fun side project that was brought up for me by one of my Patrons. This is something that I wasn't really planning on offering, but dang gone it if I didn't enjoy painting this little fella. Also I figured it would round out my "Artist for Indie Authors" vibe well, If I not only could do your book cover, but also your companion that believed in you while you made it, or your companion who laid on your keyboard/begged for food while you tried to write.

Character Art:

Character Art, like with Cover Art, is based off what best fits your budget. Have $30? We can figure something out for that. Have $200 we can work with that as well. Commissions to me are a relationship, and it is my goal to do the best that I can to thrill you, and produce something we are both extremely proud of.

Also if the above price range is a little too vague for you. A little bit more detail would be, that you tell me what you are thinking and your price range, and then I will figure out what style and how much detail I could do with the timeline your price gives me. I would then give you 2-3 options of what I could do within your price range, and we go from there.

A Brief testimonial from Sara, about the process of getting her Character Commission:
"The commission process was an absolute pleasure! Everything about the process was easy and fun. It was so cool to watch this character from my head come alive as the painting progressed. Thank you so much for the gorgeous work!"
